Software Developer - C# / .Net / Python

We're working with an innovative technology business looking for a C# / .NET Software Engineer to join their team and help build and evolve their logistics software platform.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys owning projects from idea through to delivery, solving complex problems and working across both software engineering and data science.
The role
You'll be hands-on across the full development lifecycle - from understanding the problem and designing the solution through to building, testing and deploying it into production.
You'll work primarily with C#/.NET, Entity Framework Core and relational databases, with exposure to data science, algorithms and Python also forming part of the role.
What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Experience working on and improving production codebases
- Strong software engineering fundamentals - OOP, testing, debugging and clean code
- Proven experience owning and delivering a project end-to-end
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand the wider business problem
- An interest in or experience with data science, algorithms or statistical modelling
- Some experience with Python would be highly desirable
Nice to have
- Angular or React
- AWS / cloud technologies
- Linux and command-line tooling
- Experience designing scalable, efficient algorithms
- Strong mathematical or statistical background
