As the Engineering Manager, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Engineering Manager, will be responsible for:

* Lead and manage the Estates and Hard FM function, providing direction and support to up to four direct reports at Supervisor and Manager level.

* Ensure the successful delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements and service specifications.

* Develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy to maximise asset performance, reliability and compliance across the estate.

* Monitor operational performance, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely, on time and to the required standards.

* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, supporting continuous service improvement and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

To be successful for this Engineering Manager role you must have:

* Proven experience in a senior Estates, Technical Services or Hard FM management role.

* Strong knowledge of building services, estates maintenance and Hard FM operations within a complex environment.

* Demonstrable experience managing operational teams, budgets and service delivery performance.

* Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

* Strong organisational and planning abilities, with experience managing multiple priorities and operational demands.

* A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.

* A sound understanding of compliance, health and safety, and statutory obligations within an Estates or Facilities Management environment.
