Main purposeWe are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our Gas, Power & Renewables (GPR) Technology team. You will be a core member of a small, high-impact engineering group embedded within a broader team of quants, analysts, traders, and deal desk professionals.Your primary focus will be building risk solutions for the Power and Gas trading desk on top of Beacon Platform. This is a 100% hands-on development role — you will own the full development lifecycle, from gathering requirements directly with traders and stakeholders through to delivering production-quality solutions.This role will work directly with the trading desk. Candidates who have previously worked in a trading floor environment will be familiar with the pace and communication style,and will have a natural advantage.You will be joining a well-resourced, commercially active team at the centre of one of the most dynamic areas of the energy markets.
