We’re supporting a well-established engineering/manufacturing business that’s looking to bring in someone to take full ownership of their despatch function. It’s a key role within the operation, where what you do genuinely makes a difference day to day.
You’ll be leading a small team, managing priorities, and making sure everything leaves site accurately and on time.
What you’ll be doing:
• Managing the day-to-day despatch and logistics operation
• Leading and developing a small, hands-on team
• Prioritising workload to meet customer delivery deadlines
• Ensuring orders are picked, packed, and despatched accurately
• Coordinating with production, planning, and external suppliers
• Overseeing stock control, records, and reporting
• Keeping things organised in a fast-paced, changing environment
