Python Engineer Tech Driven Fund 200,000 Plus Bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Python Engineer to join our high profile client. Our client is a well known global Prop Trading firm. They have incredible performance figures and a technology budget well over 50 million yet sub 400 employees. They like technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record). They currently run around 2 billion in liquid capital. The firm is known globally for its attitudes and rigour more importantly, you will be surrounded by smart people deeply interested in teaching what they know, and in learning from you. The candidate will assist in the analysis of large data sets which help inform trading decisions covering a range of products such as government bonds, interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange and commodities. The Python engineer will work in close collaboration with research teams to architect, implement and analyze new automated electronic trading algorithms. The developer will play a key role in building and engineering the Firm’s software infrastructure to support new and existing lines of business. In addition, the developer will expand the Firm’s proprietary research platform to support new exchanges, products and functionality. The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. Python Engineers Must Have: • 2 years of Solid Python engineering not scripting • A commitment to writing testable, maintainable code. • Advanced to expert level python development skills, including use of data analysis packages such as Numpy, Pandas, etc. • Experience with SQL and/or other database technologies • Knowledge of modern technologies such as AWS, Airflow, Docker, GitLab and Redis • Ideally working with data visualization technologies such as Dash, Plotly, You will be joining a progressive and exciting company committed to excellence.
