Job summaryWe are looking for two exceptional and experienced senior leaders to join NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board as Director of Integration for Leeds and Director of Integration for Bradford, District and Craven.NHS West Yorkshire ICB is in the process of moving to its new role as a strategic commissioner. In this role the ICB will continue
to work very closely with the wider WY health and care system,
including but not limited to partners, people and local communities, to improve
outcomes, experiences and reduce health inequalities. Our objectives and commitments
both as an organisation and system will continue to be bold and ambitious,
building on the great work we have collectively achieved together. The ICB
will have three core roles:Strategic commissioner - Ensuring that services are planned and delivered in a way that meets the needs of
the population both now and in the futureConvenor-Bringing together all partners in the Integrated Care System to agree and deliver the
five-year strategy, ensuring delivery of local and national priorities by
working together effectively and taking mutual responsibility for the results.Integrator - Place-based integrator teams
will assess population health risk and facilitate place provider partnerships
to co-design new integrated models of care.The Directors of
Integration will lead place-based integrator teams to a) deliver integrated
neighbourhood healthcare and b) support the development of place-based provider
partnerships.Main duties of the jobAlong with the current Director of Integration for Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield, these posts are the senior-most ICB representatives at place speaking on behalf
of the ICB. They work closely with local partners,
supported by the West Yorkshire ICB teams. They are responsible for strategic
leadership and partnership engagement with local councils, NHS providers,
General Practice, VCSE organisations, and other key stakeholders. On behalf of
the ICB the postholder will have responsibility for implementing the NHS
ten-year plan and supporting local partners to drive the delivery within their
designated place, ensuring alignment between national policy, ICB commissioning
intentions, and local priorities. Accountable to the Executive Director of Strategic Commissioning and Partnerships, the post-holders will
be both core members of their leadership team and the wider ICB Executive Team and play an important role in
shaping commissioning intentions and supporting the development of priorities and
