£28,000 - £32,000

Are you curious about how technology is transforming the world of finance? Excited to start your career in a fast-moving, innovative industry? We are looking for a Graduate Software Developer to join our clients’ growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised and eager to learn the ins and outs of FinTech.

The role

Develop and maintain scoped product features, while gradually taking ownership of larger tasks
Investigate and resolve defects, document findings and build a methodical approach to problem solving
Write unit tests and support regression testing to help deliver reliable software releases
Contribute to code reviews, team planning and technical documentation
Learn how the products, data flows and integrations work, while developing your own understanding of security requirements
The candidate 

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience
Logical approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail and a willingness to investigate issues
Good understanding of software development fundamentals, with an interest in testing, version control and writing code which can be maintained
Excellent communicator with great teamwork skills
Eager to learn, grow, and build a career in FinTech
Exposure to PHP, Azure, APIs, SQL or JavaScript is beneficial, but not essential
