Day-to-day of the role:

• Service, maintenance, and overhaul of a wide range of pumps and associated equipment.
• Strip, inspect, and rebuild various types of pumps including centrifugal and gear pumps.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Replace components such as bearings, seals, and shafts.
• Conduct pressure testing and performance checks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service and inspection records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with pumps.
• Strong mechanical engineering background.
• Skilled in fault finding and equipment rebuilds.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment is desirable.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
