Are you a skilled workshop professional with strong leadership experience? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where safety, efficiency and teamwork are key? If so, we have the perfect role for you.

Were looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Leicester, you will work a 4 on 4 off shift working night time hours. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, youll play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

What youll do on a typical day:

• Oversee daily workshop operations, including workload planning and technician productivity

• Ensure high-quality maintenance and repair work, including service inspections and MOT preparation

• Manage job cards and service schedules

• Control parts spend, ordering and justification

• Deputise for the Workshop Manager when required

• Ensure warranty work is captured and processed correctly

• Oversee QHSE best practice and compliance with legislation

• Handle breakdowns and external sub-contracting when necessary

• Manage absence processes, return-to-work interviews, and day-to-day people supervision

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Qualified and experienced in commercial vehicle maintenance

• Previous supervisory experience within a workshop environment

• Strong understanding of operator licence and legislative requirements

• Experience working with suppliers and external contractors

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• IT literate with the ability to update systems and service schedules

• Resilient, proactive and focused on delivering results
