Job Description

We are recruiting for a part time Claims Handler on behalf of a small Property Insurance company.

Key Responsibilities

Handling incoming claims (ROCs – Record of Change), reviewing and liaising with customers.
Liaising with on-site staff to understand claim details.
Investigating and resolving customer complaints.
Managing new job entries, contacting customers and scheduling technician appointments.
Updating systems daily with claims progress and revised finish dates.
Communicating with field staff on claims progression.
Uploading RAMs (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) for job resketchments.

Key Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience as a claims handler in insurance (flood/fire, domestic property ideal).
Comfortable managing detail and keeping accurate records.
Well suited to someone wanting flexibility, e.g. returning from maternity/paternity leave.
