Role: Transport Engineer - Development Engineering & Planning Location: Old Street, London Type: Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid. We're looking for a Transport Engineer in London! This is an ideal hybrid role that would fit perfectly, for someone with a background in S278/S38 highways who knows their way around a Transport Assessment, making for a varied and interesting working day! Excellent support in gaining Chartership Annual company trip abroad Flexible working policy with some days to work from home Role & Company: One of the fastest growing consultancies in Central London invites you, a Transport Engineer, to join one of the most dynamic and lively consultancies in London, where personality is king! The developments you may help bring to life, include but are not limited to: High-rise and cutting edge residential projects Modern commercial and retail building infrastructure Educational and art institutions and museums. You will be joining a well-established infrastructure team in a high-spec office. The office, that they designed themselves, is modern and open plan with several floors, situated a stones throw from Old Street Station. You will be working in a team of approx. 20 and will collaborate with the rest of the company, which is a total of over 160, granting plenty of social opportunity. As an employee, you personally will have the chance to contribute to the company culture and direction. The company has recently become an Employee-Owned Trust; meaning each team has a representative who will feed back to the trust on queries or ideas for the direction of the business. The team feel is added to by weekly whole office meetings where engineers and technicians have the opportunity to discuss their projects and offer help and guidance to each other. Responsibilities: Production of engineering designs and technical transport deliverables to support new developments, which may include: S278 & S38 Highways design packages; Transport Assessments; Transport Statements; Travel Plans. Other responsibilities may include: Project ownership; Collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and engineers; Data analysis and research; Client liaise. Requirements: Working knowledge of the above, attained through experience at a UK consultancy.
