Banbury - Hybrid (2 Days Per Week) - Java Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a brand-new team of engineers, working on a major cloud transformation and rearchitecture project.

You’ll be helping rewrite and modernise a core product while keeping it fully operational for existing customers — a challenging project with real technical ownership and impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and contribute to new software modules and services
• Help design and rearchitect a core product for the cloud
• Work hands-on with Java, Spring Boot/Micronaut
• Navigate and improve complex legacy applications
• Contribute to engineering best practices, knowledge sharing and potentially hiring
• Help shape the technical direction of a product undergoing significant transformation

What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on Java development experience
• Experience with Spring Boot and/or Micronaut
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Experience designing and delivering high-quality software
• Comfortable working with complex or legacy codebases
• A pragmatic, problem-solving mindset
