About the Role This Senior Software Engineer role sits within one of the teams working on Redgate Monitor, our flagship monitoring solution. You'll contribute to the ongoing evolution of a mature, high impact product used by thousands of customers worldwide, with the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, improve system performance, and deliver features that make a direct difference to how customers manage their database environments. - You'll help shape the architecture and technical direction of a product that's core to how thousands of organisations manage their databases. - You'll work within a small, cross-functional team made up of a Tech Lead, Lead Software Engineer, Product Designer, Product Manager, and four to five other software engineers, with further support from a Group Engineering Manager, a product architect, and a coaching function. - You'll take ownership of significant, often ambiguous projects from start to finish, balancing strategic planning with predictable delivery. - You'll have the chance to raise the technical capability of the wider team through mentoring, coaching, and sharing your expertise, extending your impact well beyond your own code.
