Sewing Machinist / General Operative Location: Corby Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing The Role We are currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist / General Operative to join the manufacturing team in Corby . The role will involve operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture and assemble rubber and fabric-based products, alongside general production duties within the factory. Key Responsibilities Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently Sewing and assembling materials to required specifications Following production instructions and drawings where required Checking finished products for quality and accuracy Cutting, preparing and handling materials Carrying out general production and manufacturing duties Maintaining a clean and organised working area Meeting production targets and deadlines Following company health & safety procedures Working as part of a busy production team About You The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience using an industrial sewing machine Be confident working with different materials Have good attention to detail and accuracy Be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment Have a good work ethic and reliable attendance Be able to work to production targets Have a flexible approach and be willing to undertake general production duties Work well both independently and as part of a team TPBN1_UKTJ
