Job Description

Senior Electronics Engineer

Bristol

£55,000-£70,000

YT Technologies are currently partnering with Domin, a high-growth technology business that is fundamentally redefining motion control. They are combining additive manufacturing, fluid mechanics, and high-speed electric machinery to build the next generation of advanced hydraulic systems.

They are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer who wants to move beyond just contributing and start owning the hardware. They need a competent and Senior presence in their team, one who can mentor and also take some of the more complex workload.

The Role:

Technical Authority

This is a pivotal hire for Domin. You won't be siloed into a narrow task; you will be the bridge between complex disciplines, responsible for the end-to-end electronics lifecycle of world-class products.

*

Design & Deliver: Lead the architecture, schematic capture, and PCB layout for robust PCBA and electrical systems using Altium/Altium 365.

*

Production Ownership: Drive the transition from initial prototyping and lab-based "bring-up" through to full-scale manufacturing.

*

Collaborative Impact: Work closely with Mechanical, Controls, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.

*

Standards & Quality: Act as the technical sign-off for designs, ensuring the highest standards are met while mentoring junior engineers within the team.

The Candidate:

Domin is an action-oriented environment. We are looking for an engineer who shows grit someone who stays committed through the uncertainty of R&D and moves decisively to turn ideas into outcomes.

*

Experience: Ideally 10+ years within electronics design, with a proven track record of taking complex products to market.

*

Technical Breadth: Proficiency in mixed-signal design, DFM/DFT principles, and root-cause analysis.

*

Added Value: Experience in regulated industries (Aerospace/Automotive), EMC compliance, or designing for harsh environments (ATEX) would be a significant advantage.

Why Domin?

* Private medical insurance for all employees

* 5% employer pension contribution, independent of personal contribution (National Insurance savings passed on to employees through the pension scheme)
