Robot Weld technician 

36.5 hours per week. 8-4pm Mon-Thu, 8-3pm on Fridays.

The Company:

My Client are a leading tier 1 Automotive manufacturer who have had a significant £(phone number removed) investment over the last few years. This role will be looking after 50 ABB robotic welding cells 

Control, deployment & support of all MIGMAG & Resistance Welding processes, with the inclusion of other joining technologies such as SPR, Clinch, Adhesive & Sealant. Provide technical assistance to all associated departments with joining matters. Integration & implementation of new processes, and drive improvement.

Experience Required

Provide support & education of all MIGMAG & Resistance welding,SPR/Clinch/Adhesive/Sealant joining processes.

Experienced with joining systems – operating and maintenance of both manual and robotic joining systems
Automotive experienced – ABB or Fanuc robots
Worked on robotic welding equipment
Fault-finding skills – mechanically and electrically desirable but not essential
Ideally qualified – Level 3 in C&G/NVQ etc
Experience within the automotive sector is advantageousINDJONNY
