We are currently recruiting for a skilled CMM Inspector to join a well-established manufacturing business. This role is ideal for an experienced inspector with hands-on experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and using PC-DMIS software to inspect precision-engineered components. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer and quality requirements through accurate dimensional inspection and reporting. Please note: experience operating CMM equipment and using PC-DMIS software is an essential requirement for this position. Key Responsibilities Operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS software. Run and adjust inspection routines to verify component conformity. Carry out dimensional inspection of manufactured parts against engineering drawings and specifications. Record and report inspection results accurately. Identify non-conforming products and escalate quality concerns where required. Support production teams in maintaining quality standards. Ensure inspection activities are completed in line with company procedures and customer requirements. Maintain a clean and organised work area while adhering to health and safety standards. Essential Requirements Previous experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Experience using PC-DMIS software is essential. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and measurement principles. Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive or precision engineering environment.
