Job Description

The Role

I'm working with a business investing heavily in enterprise AI, search and knowledge management capabilities. They're looking for a Data Engineer to help build the data foundations that sit behind large-scale AI and knowledge discovery platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing and delivering data pipelines, search infrastructure and knowledge management solutions that turn complex enterprise information into trusted, searchable and AI-ready assets.

What You Will Be Doing

Designing and building scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines across multiple enterprise data sources.
Developing solutions that support AI, search, analytics and knowledge management use cases.
Building and maintaining knowledge graph capabilities to model relationships across complex business data.
Enhancing enterprise search and indexing performance to improve information discovery and retrieval.
Implementing metadata, data quality and governance controls across large-scale datasets.
Working closely with AI engineers, architects, data specialists and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data products.

What You Bring

Strong data engineering experience using Python and SQL.
Experience designing and supporting large-scale ETL or ELT pipelines.
Exposure to modern cloud-based data platforms and distributed data architectures.
Knowledge of search technologies, indexing solutions or information retrieval platforms.
Understanding of data governance, lineage and metadata management principles.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
