About our Team An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cloud Security Engineer to join a growing security engineering team within a leading global organisation. You will help design, build and maintain security tooling across large-scale cloud environments, while working closely with software and platform engineering teams to ensure security solutions are successfully implemented and adopted. Responsibilities Design, build and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform Develop and support CI/CD pipelines to automate reliable deployments Implement and maintain security tooling across cloud and technology environments Work with software and platform teams to embed security throughout development and deployment processes Create monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to improve security visibility Automate security processes using Python, Shell or similar scripting languages Troubleshoot technical issues and support the resilience of production systems Produce documentation, runbooks and clear technical guidance Requirements Practical experience within cloud security, security engineering or DevSecOps. Strong knowledge of AWS or another major cloud platform. Experience using Terraform or a similar Infrastructure as Code tool. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally including GitHub Actions. Scripting experience with Python, Bash or Shell. Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability-management or code-analysis tools. An understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic or Splunk. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with software, infrastructure or DevOps teams.
