Pump EngineerLocation: Ideally based on Kent or East Sussex, work covering South EastSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annumHours: Full TimeContract Type: PermanentAre you an experienced Pump Engineer with a background maintaining and repairing pumps within off-mains sewage treatment plants, pumping stations or wastewater systems?Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Pump Engineer to cover sites predominantly across Kent and East Sussex, with occasional travel further afield.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong fault-finding skills and experience working with sewage pumps, treatment plants and associated wastewater equipment.The RoleWorking across a range of off-mains drainage and wastewater systems, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing pumping equipment to keep systems operating safely and reliably.Your work will include: Servicing, maintaining and repairing pumps within sewage treatment plants and pumping stationsDiagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on pumps and associated equipmentRemoving, repairing and replacing submersible sewage pumpsCarrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairsInspecting equipment, identifying defects and recommending remedial worksAttending customer sites across Kent and East Sussex, with occasional travel further afieldCompleting service documentation and maintaining high standards of Health & SafetyAbout YouWe're particularly interested in speaking with Pump Engineers, Wastewater Engineers and Sewage Treatment Plant Engineers who have: Previous experience working on off-mains sewage treatment plants and wastewater pumping systemsHands-on experience servicing, repairing and replacing pumpsStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilitiesExperience with submersible pumps and associated controlsA good understanding of wastewater and sewage systemsThe ability to work independently and diagnose problems on siteFull UK driving licenceQualifications such as 18th Edition, Electrical NVQ or City & Guilds, Confined Space and CSCS would be advantageous but not essential.What's on Offer? £40,000 - £45,000 per annumPermanent, full-time positionOngoing training and development with a growing specialist contractorIf you're an experienced Pump Engineer with knowledge of off-mains sewage treatment plants, sewage pumping stations or wastewater pumps, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or contact Lauren Botting on 01737 452 505 for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
