It has major operations all over the world and is part of the domestic defence capability of several nations.The RoleThis role will be working closely with the Program Manager, Work Package Leads and project Financial Controller to create and maintain project plans.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain a hierarchy of plans from Program to Work Package levelDevelop and maintain the schedule granularity for each work package to enable an appropriate level of control and reportingEnsure dependencies between work packages are reflected in the delivery scheduleDevelop a consistent format for project plans across the projectProvide “progress against plan” reporting at an appropriate level for team members, Program Manager and Steering Groups explaining variances from baseline planActively support the project risk and issue management processSupport the transition of the project plans into a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) toolKnowledge and ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ relevant experience working in New Product Development and New Product Introduction projectsHighly proficient in Microsoft Project, Jira and ExcelExperience of working with ERP/MRPExperience of working with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) toolA project management qualification (e.g. APM, Prince2, PMI) is preferableBy submitting an application to Saab UK you consent to undertaking workforce screening activities that may include but are not limited to: Baseline Personnel Security checks, National Security Vetting, reference checks, verification of working rights and in all circumstances preferred candidates will be placed through a security interview.SummaryLocation: Fareham Hampshire - Saab Seaeye, Trilogy 1, Concorde Way, SegensworthType: Full time
