Specialising in advanced technology, this pioneering organisation has built a strong reputation for engineering innovation and product development. With ambitious growth plans and continued investment into R&D, they are now looking to expand their prototype engineering team with the addition of a CNC Machinist.
In this role, you will manufacture high-quality, precision prototype components, primarily through CNC milling. Working closely with mechanical and R&D engineers, you will produce one-off and low-volume components, provide manufacturing feedback and support the rapid development of new products. This is a part-time role, initially 2-3 days a week, so you must be happy with this.
This role would therefore suit an experienced CNC Machinist with programming experience who is looking for a part-time role and enjoys working on technically challenging projects.
The Role:
- CNC programming, setting and operating
- Manufacturing precision prototype components
- Part-time - initially 2-3 days a week
- £35,000 - £45,000 (Pro-rata) + Part-Time + Benefits
The Person:
- Experience programming, setting & operating CNC machinery
- Strong understanding of drawings and GD&T
- CAD/CAM or prototype experience advantageous
- Looking for a part-time role
- Commutable to Long Eaton area
