Deliveroo operates a global, three-sided marketplace that connects customers, riders, and partners for shopping and food delivery. Its Developer Platform group builds systems, tools, and environments that help engineers deliver software efficiently and reliably.

Задачи

• Understand customer problems and translate objectives into well-defined, scoped sub-problems;
• Set high standards for craftsmanship, reliability, and scalability while leading by example;
• Make long-term versus short-term trade-offs and design durable solutions;
• Manage projects with moderate levels of ambiguity;
• Own areas within the team’s charter and deliver improvements with real impact;
• Identify gaps and provide regular recommendations to cross-functional partners;
• Mentor and teach teammates as an empathetic and influential role model.

Требования

• Strong background in software engineering, preferably with Go and/or Python;
• Extensive experience with infrastructure tooling, ideally Terraform;
• Extensive experience managing AWS cloud environments;
• Ability to contribute to the direction of a technical domain in the platform space;
• Nice to have: Experience with container orchestration, Kafka, build systems, observability, AI-assisted developer tools, or LLM-backed integrations.
