Customer Service Advisor / Order Processor Location: Chelmsford - rural location- access to own vehicle is desired. Working within a busy customer service team, you will manage enquiries via email, phone, live chat and instant messaging, ensuring all customer queries are handled efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a professional and friendly service at all times. Manage a high volume of customer enquiries via email, telephone, live chat and instant messaging. Investigate and resolve customer queries relating to orders, deliveries, returns and products. Provide product information and recommendations to support customer needs. Handle customer complaints effectively, identifying suitable resolutions within company guidelines. Prioritise workload to ensure all enquiries are responded to within agreed service levels. Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems accordingly. Ensure all customer data is handled confidentially and in accordance with GDPR regulations. Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues and provide timely updates. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience within a customer service or customer support role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment. Confident using Microsoft Office and customer service systems. Positive, proactive and customer-focused approach.
