Multimedia Designer (Photography & Digital Content) | Brompton on Swale, North Yorkshire (DL10) | Part Time 24 Hours Per Week | £19,200 (£32,000 FTE)Our client is an established and growing creative retail business specialising in artwork, homeware, gifts and stationery, with a strong online presence and a number of retail locations.With a creative and customer-focused approach, the business continues to develop its product ranges and digital presence and is now looking for a talented Multimedia Designer to support its continued growth.The RoleAs a Multimedia Designer, you will join a small creative team and work closely with the Design and Brand Manager to help develop and strengthen the brand further.You will create engaging visual content across design, photography, video, email and digital marketing channels, supporting campaigns and product launches from concept through to delivery.Reporting to the Head of Design and Brand, you will work as part of a team of two while collaborating closely with the wider Marketing and Ecommerce Team of three.This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and wants to see their creative work have a direct impact.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Design and Brand Manager with developing the brand and its visual identityCreate high-quality design assets for website banners and landing pagesCreate content for social media and paid advertisingSupport campaign launches and seasonal promotionsEnsure all content is visually engaging, on-brand and aligned with marketing objectivesDesign and build email campaigns using KlaviyoCreate visually compelling email templatesWork with the marketing team to support campaign planning and executionHelp optimise campaign performance through design improvementsCapture product and lifestyle photography and videoEdit and retouch images to a professional standardMaintain consistency in styling, lighting and brand presentationCreate content suitable for web, email and social mediaAssist with uploading and managing website content, including product imagerySupport campaign rollouts, product launches and promotional activityEnsure digital content is accurate, up to date and conversion-focusedRequirementsEssentialStrong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesignProven experience in product photographyBackground in a multimedia, design or content-focused roleExperience with photography and image editingGood understanding of digital marketing and content performanceHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple projectsDesirableExperience using Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platformE-commerce or retail backgroundBasic video or short-form content creationUnderstanding of customer journeys and online conversionExperience working within a creative brand environmentWhats In It For You24 hours per week over 3 days30 days' holiday per annum including bank holidays, pro rata40% staff discountEmployee Assistance ProgrammeDay off for your birthdayFree on-site parkingOffice-based roleTraining and support through shadowing the Design and Brand ManagerOpportunity for career progression towards Design and Brand Manager and Design and Brand DirectorWhats next?
