Mobile EngineerMobile Engineerð Central Londonð WPSð¼ Full-time | PermanentThe RoleWPS are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team covering Central London.This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading organisation, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse commercial portfolio.As a Mobile Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational, while providing an excellent service experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple FM sitesDiagnose and repair faults on electrical or mechanical systems, depending on your biasEnsure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and compliance standardsProvide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and end usersComplete accurate reporting via CAFM systems and job sheetsSupport with minor installations, upgrades, and project work when requiredParticipate in an on-call rota where applicableAbout YouWe're looking for a proactive and reliable engineer with strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering quality service.You will have:Electrical Bias:Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)18th Edition (BS 7671)Strong experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and compliance within FM environmentsORMechanical Bias:Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)Experience maintaining mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, pipework, and plant equipmentIn addition:Proven experience working within Facilities Management / Building ServicesStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience working across commercial environmentsGood knowledge of compliance and H&S best practicesFull UK driving licenceDesirable:Multi-skilled capability (electrical & mechanical)HVAC or F-Gas certification (for mechanical bias where applicable)Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage.
