We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, requiring candidates who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work rotating double-day shifts. Key Responsibilities: Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently Loading materials and products onto machines Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintaining a clean and organised work area Following all health and safety procedures at all times Reporting any machine faults or production issues to supervisors Assisting with general production duties as required Candidate Requirements: Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential Physically fit and healthy, as the role involves prolonged periods of standing and moving throughout the shift Able to work in a fast-paced production environment Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Must own and wear safety shoes/steel-toe safety footwear It would be helpful if candidates had experience of PPT. Working Hours: Rotating Double-Day Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday): Week 1: 5:30am 2:00pm Week 2: 2:00pm 10:30pm Applicants must be flexible and able to work both shift patterns on a rotating basis.
