Python Engineer Trading 150,000 Plus BonusOur client is one of the largest Quant trading firms globally. The role sits within a trading team on the bleeding edge of technology as well as execution.This is an environment of science and intellectuals. Technology plays a serious part to their business in an operation that runs 24/7 globally. You will play a serious part in making the London office more efficient in its execution.Development is agile and fast paced. As requirements evolve you will leverage the best of the open source community, sometimes substituting your own solutions where greater performance is needed. You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and through doing so you will help shape the architecture.Manage the day-to-day technology requirements of our proprietary trading systems.Accelerate trading and research analysis workflows by utilizing and expanding on in-house infrastructure and improve productivityWrite performance sensitive code and user-friendly APIs to facilitate access to our in-house data analysis infrastructurePython Engineers Must Have:5+ years of experience building demanding, live systems in PythonIn-depth knowledge of Python and keeps up with current standardsUp-to-date knowledge of the Python ecosystem: third party libraries, packaging in-built Python librariesSolid understanding of data structuresFamiliarity with Github ActionsFamiliarity with LinuxYou will be joining a progressive and exciting company committed to excellence.
