They are well known in the media as solving one of the common problems for the retail investor and in the current climate this is a unique product. The company structure is very flat and they have grown to 30 people in almost 6 months. As their product is web based this position is key to growth and stability.The position is for a Ruby Web Application Developer to build new and maintain existing Rails applications communicating with a Java API. The developer will be working within an Agile team to design and deliver high quality applications.The Ruby / JavaScript Web Developer will also be responsible for:To design and develop new applications working in collaboration with existing team membersTo maintain and enhance the existing applicationsTo design and help implement a REST apiTo ensure that all development has sufficient test coverage to maintain qualityThe project will be stabilising the development of their web based platform which is built on Java and AWS EC2 and Ruby.
