At its core Unity provides a unique reference that keeps with a transaction for its entire lifetime thereby allowing full traceability from front office to back office providing great business benefit.This role is for a developer position responsible for accomplishing results through hands on development/bug fixes of our Java application. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications development through programming activities.**Responsibilities*** **Platform Support & Enhancement:** Build and maintain common solutions for trading platform monitoring, trade reconciliation, application recovery, and other essential support functions.* **Core Development**: Participate in design sessions with the development team, both employees and vendors located across multiple locations* **Agile SDLC pipeline:** Evaluate and adopt new development tools, libraries, and approaches to improve delivery quality by aligning with latest industry trends* **Continuous Improvement**: Analyze existing software systems and propose solutions to improve overall design, architecture, and efficiency* **Cross functional Collaboration:** Communicate with stakeholders to help shape requirements and de sign decisions* Liasing with production support teams in troubleshooting and debugging applications* Ensure that best practices and standards are followed as part of the application development life cycle.* Provide user/support documentation* Ensure applications meet performance and scalability requirements* Comfortable in using AI based coding assistants and AI powered SDLC processes**Mandatory Skills*** Strong commercial experience as a Java developer.
