Job Description

Talentmark are recruiting for a Field Application Scientist to join an innovative life science tools company based in Cambridge, on a permanent basis.

The Company: Our client is a growing Series A life science technology company developing next-generation analytical technology for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Your main duties will be:

Deliver hands-on instrument demonstrations and provide technical support to customers across the UK and internationally.
Support Sales with customer discovery calls, technical discussions, conferences and follow-up.
Understand customer workflows and translate their scientific requirements into effective demonstration proposals.
Capture customer feedback and work closely with Sales, R&D, Engineering and Product teams to support adoption.Your Background:

MSc with relevant industry experience or a PhD in a relevant field such as protein expression, antibody development, cell line development or process development.
Strong hands-on laboratory experience with excellent pipetting and experimental skills.
Experience with protein quantification techniques such as ELISA, BLI, SPR or SEC-HPLC would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging with scientific audiences.
Customer-focused, organised and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel internationally for up to 75% of working days.
