This role requires someone who has experience liaising with hardware vendors and researching the best technology for the purpose.As a Hardware Engineer, you will liaise with the IT and Systems team and incorporate the hardware choices in Windows and Linux environments.The ideal candidate will have:4+ years of experience in an IT Support role focusing on hardware.In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, desktop technologies, audio/video etc.Good experience integrating and troubleshooting driver issues in Windows OSExcellent communicator with the ability to explain complex issues with accuracyPowershell would be a bonusHave a strong understanding of hardware options and be able to provide in-depth written assessments of different hardware options.Advanced knowledge of Active Directory/DNS/DHCPExperience working in a fast paced environment.An eagerness to learn and strong attention to detailThis role suits a candidate who has had responsibility early on in their career, someone who has worked in smaller agile companies with continual change. You must be hands on and have excellent experience of working in a demanding but rewarding environment. You will also be a techie motivated by technology.
