Interim Finance Manager 📍 Location: Tiverton area 💰 Rate: Up to £325 per day 📅 Contract: Interim (Up to 9 months initially)

A well-established manufacturing and engineering organisation based in the Tiverton area is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide leadership and stability to its finance function during a key period for the business.

This is a hands-on role requiring a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly build relationships, support the finance team, and ensure robust financial control and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the day-to-day activities of the finance team
Oversee monthly management accounts and reporting processes
Ensure strong financial controls and governance are maintained
Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning
Support year-end activities and audit preparation
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes
Business partner with operational and senior leadership teams
Provide financial insight to support decision-making
About You

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience with relevant background)
Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar senior finance lead
Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
Manufacturing, engineering or similar operational sector experience preferred
Experience managing and developing finance teams
Able to work independently and make an immediate impact
Available at short notice
