Are you a technically-minded Field Application Engineer who thrives in customer-facing roles?

We're recruiting for a Field Application Engineer (FAE) on behalf of our client, a leading UK

manufacturer.

In this hybrid role, you'll act as the technical bridge between customers, distributors, and internal

teams—delivering design-in support, solving engineering challenges, and driving new business

opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Field Application Engineer:

• Providing expert technical support to customers and internal teams

• Visiting OEMs and design houses to build relationships and uncover opportunities

• Delivering product training and technical presentations

• Collaborating with sales and distribution partners to win new business

• Resolving technical issues and recommending solutions

What We’re Looking For as a Field Application Engineer:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)

• 5+ years in electronics (ideally in design or customer-facing roles)

• Strong understanding of embedded systems, RF, sensors, or semiconductors

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally
