Reporting into the Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Automation Engineers in one of the UK's fastest growing food companies! You'll be expected to drive excellent standards, improve processes and enhance efficiency whilst mentoring your team, to ensure we provide an exceptional product to our hungry customers, each and every delivery.What You Will Be Doing:Manage and provide leadership to a team of Automation Engineers, Reliability Engineers and Junior EngineersCoaching, guiding and mentoring at all levels of the shiftDevelop and implement maintenance procedures and schedule to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliabilityIdentify opportunities for process automation and improvement to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costsConduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actionsCoordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts, equipment upgrades, and technical supportLead route cause analysis processes and continuous improvement projectsMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimizationWho You Are:Strong knowledge of automation systems, material handling equipment, and warehouse management systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders cross functionallyStrong and evident leadership and people management experienceKnowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse or manufacturing environmentProven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in an automated manufacturing or distribution center environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesGood understanding of data reporting to the business Next steps: Your application will be reviewed and if successful, a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch within 2 weeks.To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have the independent right to work in the UK, as we're unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship at this time.You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters.
