Engineering Manager

• Annual Salary: £75,000 to £100,000+

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic engineering team within a modern FMCG manufacturing facility. This role offers the opportunity to manage a maintenance manager, a large engineering team, a controls engineer, and a team leader, focusing on enhancing planned maintenance, production, and all site engineering activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and develop a skilled team of engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance and coordinate engineering projects to improve system reliability and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning to enhance production processes and reduce downtime.
• Promote and ensure high standards of health and safety across the site.
• Manage and mentor direct reports including a maintenance manager, controls engineer, and team leader, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Supervisor within a manufacturing environment, ideally in FMCG.
• Strong background in Engineering.
• Qualified in an engineering background
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams and complex engineering projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving operational excellence.
• Must be commutable to Sutton, South London.
