Salary: £54,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift Days & Nights
Shift Hours: 7:00am7:00pm / 7:00pm7:00am
Overtime: Available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a prestigious facilities management team based within a brand-new, state-of-the-art skyscraper in the City of London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking to work within a modern, high-profile commercial environment, with excellent opportunities for training, development and progression into senior engineering roles.
You will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of the building's electrical services, ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably.
The RoleAs an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Monitoring and maintaining LV electrical distribution systems.
- Carrying out lighting, emergency lighting and general electrical maintenance.
- Responding to electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and in line with relevant procedures.
- Completing maintenance records and reporting any issues to management.
- Working closely with the wider engineering and facilities management team.
- Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the building.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety requirements.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically capable Electrical Engineer with experience within a commercial building services environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- An NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Previous experience within commercial building services, facilities management or a similar environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A professional attitude and strong commitment to health & safety.
- £52,000 basic salary
- Continental shift pattern Days & Nights
- 7:00am7:00pm / 7:00pm7:00am
- 20 days shift leave
