Location: West MoorsSalary: From £12.71 per hourHours: 39 hours per weekShift: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-15:30Job Type: Full-time, PermanentThe RoleOur client, a well-established manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Deburrer to join their busy production team.Working as part of an experienced deburring team, you will be responsible for ensuring machined components are finished to the required standard, are completely burr-free, and are ready to be passed to Stores.The role will involve working on a variety of components, from straightforward parts requiring washing and basic finishing through to more complex and intricate components requiring the use of electric tools, air tools and hand tools.Key ResponsibilitiesDeburr machined components to the required specification and finish.Inspect your own work to ensure components meet the required quality standards.Use a range of electric, pneumatic/air and hand tools safely and effectively.Work on both straightforward and complex/intricate components.Wash and clean components following machining processes.Work independently when required while also contributing effectively within a small team.Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality throughout the process.Ensure finished components are prepared and ready for Stores.About YouThe successful candidate will have:Previous experience deburring machined components - essential.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.The ability to inspect and take responsibility for your own work.Experience using hand tools and ideally electric and air/pneumatic tools.The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional hours are available and will be paid at time and a third of the base rate.
