As the business continues to grow, data is playing an increasingly critical role in driving decision-making, customer experience, and product innovation.As Data Platform Lead, you’ll take ownership of a modern cloud-based data platform while leading a team of Data Engineers. This is a genuine player-coach role, combining hands-on technical delivery with people leadership, giving you the opportunity to influence both the technical direction of the platform and the growth of the engineering team. What you’ll be doing: Data Platform LeadLeading the development and evolution of a modern data platform built on AWS, Snowflake and dbt. Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Data Engineers while setting engineering standards and best practice.Designing and delivering scalable, high-quality data pipelines, reusable data models and trusted datasets that power analytics, reporting and future AI initiatives. Owning the platform roadmap, balancing business demand, technical debt, resilience, scalability and future platform capability. Working closely with stakeholders across Technology, Product, Analytics and the wider business to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
