Your Role Supporting the development and delivery of high-quality maintenance and repair publications for advanced landing gear systems.You will play a key role in producing compliant technical documentation, working closely with engineering and programme teams in a dynamic aerospace environment.Key Responsibilities Include:•Develop and manage technical publications (CMMs, Service Bulletins, ICA) across the full lifecycle•Interpret engineering drawings, test data, and design information to produce accurate, compliant documentation•Collaborate with engineering, programme, and customer teams to support entry into service (EIS)•Plan and manage work packages, schedules, and resources to meet programme objectives•Act as a key interface for customers, MROs, and suppliers•Ensure documentation quality, compliance, and on-time delivery•Support continuous improvement and innovation, including S1000D and digital/IETP initiativesBut what else? Candidate skills & requirementsWhat You'll Bring •Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (or equivalent) •Experience in aerospace technical publications and documentation (CMMs, SBs) •Strong knowledge of aircraft systems (landing gear experience advantageous) •Skilled in interpreting engineering data and producing compliant documentation (ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, ASD-STE100)•Experience with technical authoring tools (e.g. FrameMaker, Arbortext, IsoDraw) and SGML/XML •Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills •Experience managing technical documentation projects within an engineering or MRO environmentGet involved: We also have a number of groups and forums across our sites that you can get involved with, including Women at Safran, Diversity at Safran, Sports Clubs, STEM ambassadors, Employee Forum, Charity Partnerships and Wellbeing Programs.
