About the Role
A great opportunity for an experienced Contract Supervisor to join a major FM provider on a key healthcare estates contract. You’ll lead a team of 7 engineers, ensuring high‑quality delivery of planned and reactive maintenance, excellent client service, and smooth day‑to‑day running of the contract.
This role is predominantly supervisory, but you’ll need to be technically confident and willing to support the team hands‑on when required. You’ll also play a key part in identifying additional works, improving self‑delivery, and driving service performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leading, coaching and developing a team of 7 engineers
Managing PPM and reactive maintenance delivery
Planning engineers’ diaries, workloads and subcontractor activity
Acting as the main client contact in a fast‑paced environment
Ensuring compliance, safety and high‑quality service standards
Supporting fault diagnosis and technical issues when needed
Spotting opportunities for additional works and small projects
Taking ownership of contract performance and reporting
Ideal Candidate
Ideally located to the South of Birmingham
Experienced Supervisor or Lead Engineer with people‑management background
Strong technical grounding in FM / building services / M&E - ideally with an electrical bias
Confident managing PPM, reactive works and subcontractors
Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
Healthcare / HTM experience beneficial but not essential
Proactive, organised and able to lead from the front
