Due to continued growth, it is looking for someone who can take ownership of multiple projects and ensure they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard.This opportunity could suit an experienced Contracts Manager or an established Project Manager who is ready to take the next step.The roleYou will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, the commercial team, site management and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include:Managing multiple fitout and interiors projectsOverseeing programmes, budgets and project deliveryCoordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliersMaintaining strong relationships with clients and consultantsMonitoring quality, health and safety, and commercial performanceIdentifying and resolving potential project risksSupporting projects from initial planning through to final handoverEnsuring work is completed to the required standard and specificationThe ideal candidateThe client is particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:Experience as a Contracts Manager or Project ManagerA background in fitout, refurbishment, bespoke interiors or joineryPrevious experience working for an SME-sized contractorStrong knowledge of the full project-delivery processExcellent organisational and communication skillsA keen eye for detail, finish and qualityThe ability to manage several projects and competing prioritiesA proactive and commercially aware approachA joinery background would be highly advantageous but is not essential if you have strong, relevant fitout or interiors experience.The opportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join an established and respected Edinburgh business where you will have genuine ownership of projects and the opportunity to play an important part in its continued growth.The search is being handled confidentially, and the client’s identity will be disclosed following an initial conversation.For more information or a completely confidential discussion, contact Scott Reilly at Peace Recruitment:07738 #####
