Electronics Engineer (Contract)Electronic Design Engineer / Hardware Engineer6-12 monthsImmediate start availableWe're looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join a specialist engineering team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the design, development, testing and support of innovative electronic products, working from initial concept through to production.As Electronics Engineer, you will lead electronic design activities, supporting new product development and existing product ranges, and collaborate with manufacturing partners and external design consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.Key accountabilities for Electronic Design Engineer:Leading the design and verification of new electronic productsSupporting and enhancing existing designs and productsDeveloping schematics, system architectures and PCB designsCarrying out prototype testing, validation and calibration activitiesWorking closely with production teams and contract manufacturersSupporting regulatory compliance including CE, RoHS and LVD requirementsMaintaining technical documentation, test specifications and engineering recordsDriving continuous improvement, obsolescence management and design-for-manufacture activitiesTo succeed in this role, you will likely have:Degree qualified (or with commensurate experience) in Electronics Engineering or a related disciplineIn-depth experience in electronics design and developmentStrong mixed-signal (analogue and digital) circuit design experienceExperience with small-signal analogue design and high-sensitivity receiver/detector circuitsProven experience using PCB design tools such as Altium (highly desirable), EAGLE, PADS or OrCADHands-on use of laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers (ideal)Experience working with microcontrollers, embedded hardware, FPGAs or programmable devicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamIn return you will have the opportunity to work on technically challenging and innovative products and have end-to-end involvement in the product development lifecycle.For further details, please contact Alison Kemp or apply via the link.INDENGTPBN1_UKTJ
