Job Description

Construction Planner - Hospital Modular Build (M&E)

Location: Bournemouth – 3 days onsite per week

Contract: £450–£500/day Outside IR35

Duration: Until April 2027

The Opportunity

We’re currently working with a major construction organisation delivering a hospital modular build project in Bournemouth, and we're looking for an experienced Construction Planner to join the team through to project completion.

The project is entering its final stages, including M&E fit-out, making this an exciting opportunity for a Planner with strong construction experience to play a key role in delivering the programme through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and update the project programme using Primavera P6
Work closely with the project and delivery teams to monitor progress
Support programme reporting and identify potential delays or areas of concern
Coordinate planning activities across construction and M&E works
Contribute to programme reviews and ensure key milestones remain achievable
Support the team through the final stages of construction and M&E fit-out

Key Requirements

Proven Construction Planning experience
Strong Primavera P6 skills
Experience working with NEC contracts
M&E experience preferred
Modular construction experience desirable, but not essential
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in Bournemouth
