Job Description

Portfolio are proud to represent our client, a global media company in their search for a Paralegal. Working within a small, collaborative and supportive team, you will have experience of commercial contracts, legal drafting, reviewing and research of IP agreements, licensing and content distribution. This is a very fast paced role, required at the busiest time of the year, so you will need to have a solid understanding of the paralegal role, at least 1 years experience, and ability to maintain accuracy whilst working under pressure. Although this is temporary 4 month role, it is an amazing opportunity for a legal professional aspiring to work in the media industry and gain experience with an extremely well known media brand. The role is currently offering hybrid working with 1 or 2 days per week in the office based in London. If you have LPC or BPTC, commercial paralegal experience and you are immediatley available, please apply today and we'll be in touch in the next couple of days!

Your Role Accountabilities...

Drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements including license and distribution agreements and supporting documentation, including term sheets, amendments (e.g. extensions), sale and purchase agreements, notice letters and non-disclosure agreements.
Creating and maintaining deal summaries and assisting with contract reviews to respond to day-to-day business queries.
General commercial legal work, legal research, and support on major projects.
Communicate with internal sales, finance and other legal teams and actively participating in team meetings and training sessions.
Handling multiple tasks with exposure to a wide range of business issues, within the support of an experienced legal team.
