About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a fast-growing consultancy at the forefront of Data & AI transformation. You'll design, build, and automate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that powers modern data platforms for enterprise clients — working hands-on with cutting-edge tools across AWS and Azure to deliver the infrastructure backbone behind next-generation analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.

This is a client-facing, consultancy-based role for someone who wants to work at the intersection of cloud engineering and the data/AI world — helping organisations stand up the platforms (including Databricks) that power their AI ambitions.

What You'll Do

Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure for enterprise Data & AI clients
Build reusable, production-grade Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt
Architect secure, scalable cloud environments tailored to each client's data platform needs
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
Automate cloud provisioning, patching, and infrastructure lifecycle management
Deploy and manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, and networking as part of modern lakehouse architectures
Implement monitoring and observability using OpenTelemetry or similar tooling
Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks to support long-term platform reliability

What We're Looking For

3–5+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps
Strong commercial experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
Solid hands-on experience across both AWS and Azure
Proven experience designing and managing Infrastructure as Code
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation
Experience deploying and managing Databricks infrastructure
A solid understanding of modern data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and data warehousing concepts
