Client Manager – Accountancy Practice | Up to £45,000 DOE

A well-established accountancy practice in Leicester is seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Client Manager to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients, develop strong client relationships and provide both compliance and commercial support.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients
• Prepare and review statutory accounts and VAT returns
• Prepare and review management accounts
• Act as a key point of contact for clients
• Provide practical accounting and commercial advice
• Review work completed by junior team members
• Support and develop more junior staff
• Manage deadlines and ensure high-quality client delivery

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified – applications from part-qualified or AAT candidates will not be considered
• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong experience with SME accounts, VAT and management accounts
• Confident managing client relationships
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commercially minded and proactive
• Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar software

• £45,000–£52,000, depending on experience
