Reporting to the SQA Senior Engineer and SQA Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and production readiness of supplied components forMcLarenroadcars.Fromsupportingnewvehicleprogrammesthroughtoseriesproduction,you'llworkcloselywithsupplierstodrivequalityexcellence,resolvemanufacturingchallenges,andensurecomponentsconsistentlymeetMcLaren'sexceptionalstandards.
What You'll Do
Own supplier quality and capacity for a designated vehicle area.Drive suppliers to achieve and exceed McLaren quality standards.Lead quality concern resolution through robust 8D problem-solving.Conduct New Product Introduction (NPI) and process verification audits.Develop and improve supplier manufacturing processes.Support production readiness and successful volume ramp-up.Deliver effective APQP activities across the supply base.Manage timely PPAP approval of parts and production processes.Lead continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes.Monitor and deliver key quality and performance KPIs.Provide project updates and management reporting.Track supplier progress against IATF 16949 compliance plans.Maintain personal development and technical training plans.
