We are recruiting for an established residential property management business looking for an experienced Block Manager to join its team in Leeds.

The RoleYou will take responsibility for your own portfolio of residential developments, providing a professional and proactive service to clients and leaseholders.
This is a varied role where you will have autonomy over your portfolio while having the support of an experienced wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and developments
Acting as the main point of contact for clients and leaseholders
Carrying out regular site inspections
Managing contractors, repairs and maintenance
Preparing and monitoring service charge budgets
Working closely with service charge and accounts teams
Managing major works and Section 20 consultations
Attending client, resident and AGM meetings when required
Managing insurance claims
Ensuring properties remain compliant with relevant legislation
Managing health and safety requirements across your portfolio
Reading and interpreting leases
Building strong relationships with clients, RMC Directors and leaseholders
Identifying problems early and taking ownership of resolving them
We are looking for someone with previous residential block or leasehold property management experience.
You should be comfortable managing your own portfolio and confident dealing directly with clients, residents and contractors.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous Block Management experience
Good knowledge of residential leasehold management
Experience managing service charge budgets
Understanding of Section 20 and major works
Knowledge of relevant property and health and safety legislation
Strong client management skills
Excellent organisation and communication skills
The ability to manage competing priorities
A proactive approach to problem solving
TPI, IRPM or another relevant property qualification would be advantageous, although experience and attitude are equally important.
