Block Manager Location: LeedsJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeWorking Pattern: Hybrid WorkingBlock Manager, Leeds Are you an experienced Block Manager looking for a business where you can genuinely become part of its future?We are recruiting for an established residential property management business looking for an experienced Block Manager to join its team in Leeds.What makes this opportunity particularly different is that the business is employee owned .That means the people working within the company have a genuine stake in its success and an opportunity to benefit from the business they are helping to build.The Role You will take responsibility for your own portfolio of residential developments, providing a professional and proactive service to clients and leaseholders.This is a varied role where you will have autonomy over your portfolio while having the support of an experienced wider team.Your responsibilities will include:Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and developmentsActing as the main point of contact for clients and leaseholdersCarrying out regular site inspectionsManaging contractors, repairs and maintenancePreparing and monitoring service charge budgetsWorking closely with service charge and accounts teamsManaging major works and Section 20 consultationsAttending client, resident and AGM meetings when requiredManaging insurance claimsEnsuring properties remain compliant with relevant legislationManaging health and safety requirements across your portfolioReading and interpreting leasesBuilding strong relationships with clients, RMC Directors and leaseholdersIdentifying problems early and taking ownership of resolving themWhat We're Looking For We are looking for someone with previous residential block or leasehold property management experience .You should be comfortable managing your own portfolio and confident dealing directly with clients, residents and contractors.Ideally, you will have:Previous Block Management experienceGood knowledge of residential leasehold managementExperience managing service charge budgetsUnderstanding of Section 20 and major worksKnowledge of relevant property and health and safety legislationStrong client management skillsExcellent organisation and communication skillsThe ability to manage competing prioritiesA proactive approach to problem solvingTPI, IRPM or another relevant property qualification would be advantageous, although experience and attitude are equally important.Why Consider This Opportunity?
